The Carlton Youth Hockey Association (CYHA) is proud to be the foundation for youth hockey in our community. Based in Carlton, Minnesota — the smallest community in the United States to have its own indoor hockey arena — we believe hockey is more than just a game; it’s an opportunity to build character, teamwork, and lifelong memories.

CYHA offers programs for players of all ages and skill levels, including a dedicated Junior Gold team for older players and a welcoming Mite program for our youngest skaters just learning the game. In addition to league play, we host fun activities and events throughout the year that bring our youth and families together, creating lasting connections on and off the ice.

Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and affordable hockey experience for every child who wants to play. Through committed coaches, dedicated volunteers, and strong community pride, CYHA teaches sportsmanship, discipline, and respect — values that extend far beyond the rink.
